Your tax-deductible receipt will be sent from the auspicing body, the Melbourne Anglican Benevolent
Society, which receives an annual report on the Program including financials.

For contributions to the
Parish of the Parks Development Fund*
Your tax-deductible receipt will be sent from the Sponsoring Organisation,
which is the Anglican Parish of St Silas and St Anselm, Albert Park.

Contributions to the work of the Parish in general are not tax deductible,
but are always appreciated. Although the Parish has acquired a significant financial liability in the form
of a loan to finance the new lift, we are resolved to continue to support various local,state and
national welfare and similar programs . Contact Us to make a donation to the ministry and work of our
Parish.
Bequests
Bequests may be made to the Parish in general or directed to any of the above Funds. If you are
considering a bequest, please discuss with the Vicar or Treasurer who could facilitate the arrangements.
*The Parish of the Parks Development Fund
- The objective of The Fund is to finance the construction and maintenance of an elevator and to support the development and upkeep of educational facilities within the building, for which gifts and bequests from the public are invited.
- The premises of the Sponsoring Organisation (the Parish) comprise a multi purpose building used for educational purposes by arms-length educational institutions for more than 50% of the time.
- The Trustees and Management Committee of The Fund are the Vicar, Churchwardens and Treasurer (of the day) of the Sponsoring Organisation.

- The Fund is bound to operate on a non-profit basis and money may only be used for repayment of the lift loan, educational areas and facilities, maintenance thereof and proper remuneration for administrative services in relation to the lift and educational areas and facilities.

- In accordance with requirements, a separate account is maintained with the Anglican Development Fund . The Fund is accounted for separately within the Parish accounts, and an annual report is made to the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.
The large sum borrowed in 2011 from the Anglican Development Fund to finance the lift , is
repayable over the next several years.
