Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life ..."
These words feature on the wall of St. Silas Anglican Church Memorial Garden, and they remind us of the hope and confidence we have in the Easter faith of Christianity.
The Vicar and parishioners welcome the use of St Silas Church for funeral services in the Anglican tradition.
Our funeral and memorial services are an opportunity to thank God for a special life and so we recall the essence of a life well lived.
We also comfort the bereaved and support them in what is usually life’s darkest and toughest time.
Our Memorial Garden offers a final resting place for the cremated remains (ashes) of the departed.
A beautifully inscribed book, kept in the church, records all who have been interred in this splendidly maintained garden.
