Our New Lift
To meet the growing needs of our Parish, an ambitious
project to install a lift commenced in 2010.
The lift was in place early in the following year, and dedicated by the Archbishop of Melbourne on Ascension Day, 2 June 2011.
The lift enables access for all to the beautiful worship space on the upper floor, and meets the special needs of the handicapped, the elderly and parents with young children in prams in particular. The area may now be fully utilised for both Church and public purposes.
In addition to the regular Church Services (see Service Times) , the church space is used by a community-based childrens choir, for recitals by various visiting choral groups, a concert program and occasional productions by the local "Shoestring Opera" (see Events Calendar ).

The large sum borrowed from the Anglican Development Fund to finance the construction of the lift is repayable over several years, and is the Parish's major liability. A public fund to assist in repaying this loan and to support its maintenance and the development and upkeep of educational areas and facilities on the premises was established the same year and has received donor gift recipient status from the Australian Tax Office, meaning contributions are tax-deductible.
We would particularly appreciate your consideration of a bequest
